Broken finger for Hugh Bowman

Racing NSW adviseed on Tuesday note Hugh Bowman suffered a fall during morning trackwork at Randwick earlier on Tuesday morning. Hugh was treated at Prince of Wales Hospital and has suffered a broken finger.

Racing NSW's Dr Duckworth reported the break is to his little finger on his right hand which was to require surgery on Tuesday afternoon.

At this stage Bowman is set to miss both Canterbury on Wednesday and The Run To The Rose meeting at Rosehill on Saturday. He may then return  the following Saturday at Randwick to ride Happy Clapper in the Group 1 WFA George Main Stakes (1600m) and Osborne Bulls in the Group 2 The Shorts (1100m).
